The Cabarrus County Schools PLC is a small, alternative school that serves high school students who are not succeeding in a traditional setting and who typically:

• Lack interest in a lecture based academic environment
• Feel that their grades do not reflect their capabilities
• Are chronically late or absent from school
• Are thinking about dropping out
• Prefer working independently
• Have issues at home that affect their schoolwork
• Feel "out of place" or "lost in the crowd" at large high schools
• Desire the opportunity to change

A successful PLC student will be committed, self-motivated, organized and independent.
